Aston Martin Valhalla: First Customer Cars Delivered

Aston Martin has begun customer deliveries of the Valhalla, the brand's first mid-engined production car and its most technologically advanced vehicle ever.

The Valhalla combines a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 with a plug-in hybrid system to produce a combined 998 horsepower. Aston Martin worked closely with Formula 1 to develop the car's aerodynamics, which generate significant downforce.

Only 999 examples will be built, with prices starting at approximately $900,000. The car represents a major step for Aston Martin into supercar territory previously dominated by Ferrari, McLaren, and Lamborghini.

Early reviews from automotive journalists who have driven pre-production prototypes praise the Valhalla's balance of track capability and road usability, with many noting it feels substantially different from anything Aston Martin has produced before.
