Gordon Murray T.50 Owners Get First Track Day
Gordon Murray Automotive hosted its inaugural T.50 Owners Track Day at the Goodwood Motor Circuit, bringing together a remarkable gathering of the Cosworth V12-powered hypercars.
The T.50, widely regarded as the spiritual successor to the McLaren F1 (which Murray also designed), features a naturally aspirated 4.0-litre V12 that revs to 12,100 rpm and produces 654 horsepower. At just 986kg, its power-to-weight ratio is exceptional.
Owners were treated to professional instruction and the opportunity to explore the car's capabilities in a controlled environment. The distinctive rear-mounted fan, which provides active aerodynamic management, was put through its various modes.
With production limited to just 100 units and a price tag of approximately 2.8 million pounds, the T.50 has already shown signs of strong appreciation on the secondary market, with several examples reportedly trading hands at significant premiums.
